There’s a lot you need your resume or LinkedIn profile to accomplish. To get results, it must:

  • Stand out among hundreds of other resumes or profiles – whether scanned by a human eye or electronically.
  • Grab the attention of a busy decision-maker.
  • Communicate your unique value proposition – your personal brand – within 20-30 seconds.
  • Show not just what you’ve done, but how well you’ve done it. (This is essential!)
  • Be free of clichés, unproven claims, excessive superlatives, and other “pet peeves” of HR and hiring managers.
  • Contain the right key words.
  • Convey credibility and professionalism without being boring.
  • Be flawless, with no typos or errors.
  • Maximize your strengths and minimize anything that might count against you – e.g. zigzags in work history, gaps in experience, mature age, etc.
  • Convince employers to reach out to you.

The most affordable (and often the fastest) way to work with me for great job search communications is through document review and coaching. I will give you specific, customized guidance as you transform your resume, profile and/or cover letter. I can then provide light editing and simple formatting to polish your final draft.

  • 30 minutes of phone and/or email support

     One-Week Coach-and-Edit – $350 ($415 value)

  • Everything in the Closer Look package above, PLUS:
  • 1.5-hr. edit of your (one) revised draft within 2 business days of my receiving it
  • Note: Your revised draft must be received within 5 days after I provide your written recommendations, so please schedule this project during a week when you have enough time to do your revision.


I have limited availability for resume, LinkedIn profile and cover letter writing. When available, this process begins with an in-depth interview. The cost depends on the complexity of the project. Resumes and LinkedIn profiles may cost anywhere from $450 (recent graduate) to $800+ for the resume itself. Cover letters are typically about half the cost of a resume or profile. Second and third documents typically cost less than the first document I write for you. Please contact me for a quote.
